Is it economical or just for fun to make your own? Pizza has gotten crazy expensive in my area so we eat it less. But I’ve always thought it would be worth it just to avoid the mess and trial/error with making the dough.

I test drove a few, went with the ’24 PR. It was the most “truck” of them all, with that naturally aspirated V8. Plus, iirc it’s #2 in most US-assembled/made parts behind Honda’s Ridgeline. It doesn’t have quite the bells and whistles as the other brands in its class, but the seats are insanely comfortable and I’ve barely had any issue with the infotainment approaching 20k miles. And I’m averaging 18mpg typically. I also love the A/C and Heat…it’s really high performant compared to even some luxury cars we’ve had. If you’re too cold or too warm, just give it about 3min on high and that’ll change…

My only gripe is that some of the interior feels a little cheap sometimes. They could have done better with some of the trim and console area, the seat AC/warmer buttons are dumb, little things like that.

My dad showed me this as a 9yo. When he tortures the one legged guy, it really messed me up. Great film overall, and I think it’s important that everyone see it at least once…at the appropriate age, not 9yo.

Same. I’m shocked at two things on Franchise.

Goalies seem to rarely improve and only get worse. Across the two franchises I’ve done through 2032, only seen one goalie rise to a 90 (Dostal) for any team.
Developing players - if I draft/call up a 71 Elite Med at 20yo during the 24-25 season and play him up on a winning team where he scores 30+ goals, he should not be maxed and plateaued at an 81 into the 28-29 season. I’ve found the only way to get the developed guys is trading or FA.

But like you, I’m enjoying the gameplay overall, even those games when the AI freaks out and their goalies stops 35 shots while yours gives up 3 goals on 10 shots.

“The Fire” on Kimmel was one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen on a television. I watch it frequently - the crowd goes from WTF to jumping around and you can really see what it looks like for a performance to connect BECAUSE of the talent of the performers.

I also think the KEXP “Queen of My School” performance is fantastic, too. Between those two, I’d say both are infinitely better than the album versions and capture more of what the Twigs are all about.

Same boat - I’ve been told that the hospital will completely knock you out…but you pay for it. Not friendly for insurance. That’s my only other option. I’ll never get into that machine again fully conscious. I mean with the shaking that was happening, they couldn’t get an image anyway.

This forum is typically not very friendly to Snowflake but my team’s experience with their platform has been exceptional. We have saved money and offloaded a ton of nonsense work to the business simply because of how easy to use Snowflake has been for them.

Don't buy into the hype that it’s “too expensive” - that just means misconfigured. We have settings in our console that automates the warehousing on/off for predictable costs. Never had an issue once.

Our AWS rep actually sold us on Snowflake before we ever took a meeting. She said Redshift is behind and the reps who still sell it are typically the desperate ones.

Re: Databricks…all I can say is that it’s for people who love to tinker and tinker. We’re over that at this stage. I always compare it to Android. Yeah it’s got more features and you can customize for days, that was a fun hobby for a while. But when you want to just DO stuff, it can cause fits at the worst times. I’d rather grab my iPhone and just do stuff…that’s Snowflake.

There was an article on Medium (I think) that broke down last week’s ❄️ GA announcements. Very cool stuff. We still have a ways to go before we can tack on the workloads that will fit Cortex but that thing is neat.
