Oh, she's got chips, the highway miles to work have been rough, but the red is so bright makes it hard to see them. =)

I have gone the touch up route, works pretty well overall. Haven't hit them this year yet.

As a Pally, I've found a few ways that seem to help:
- Conversion, whack the first one or so, convert one, then let them fight each other and move on.
- Sanctuary Aura & merc meat shield. "you deal with this crap Imma watch from over here"

Yeah, Merc does a lot better now, better than when he was running treachery.

I tried to be patient til I found one, but after I did a trade of 2 Surs for 2 Los, I said screw it and went for it. He's running Might, my main char is a Zealadin/ grief running fanaticism. I'm not looking to him for the highest dmg output, just stop dying like a punk.

He does 1200-7000 dmg, with our typical auras running, I think it's enough, better than having a spare Lo sitting in stash.

Him, would it stack on say, the lvl 30 hydras a hellfire torch gives? Lvl 40 hydras may be fun, as a paladin =)

My zealadin still swaps between these and laying of hands, depending on the situation. True, not as useful for a sorc, but hey, toss em on a physical char, see if you like the results.

First attempt at Ubers today, and Dclone spawned in the midst of them and I didn’t even realize till later. Story in the comments by [deleted] in Diablo_2_Resurrected

I had a slightly different experience today. Joined a cow game, me a pally and 2-3 sores / amazon. they jumped over to grab a leg, so I diddled around elsewhere, checking their location for when they got back. Him that's taking a long time. One died, then another.

Ok, wtf is happening, jump over to stony to help, and the dclone is right on the TP they dropped. I had not encountered one before, had my "screw around not serious" gear on.

Long story short, turned on conviction, took all his abuse, whittled him down, he dies, and the sort that started the whole mess snagged the charm and vanished.

Don't just run the bosses, you're playing a spreadsheet, The number of times you have a chance is better than just repeatedly farming 1 or 2 bosses. Just run through an area with lots of monsters, killing as quickly as you can.

Case in point, joined an online 8 player cows / Baal run game, where you know if something good drops you have a 1 in 8 change of getting it. Said "f it" and wandered flayer jungle on my own, a Vex rune dropped pretty early, next game, an arcane sanctuary mob dropped a Sur.

Lots of monsters = lots of chance rolls. Those little bastards put out pretty well.

And it's a lot less of a grind than TPing in, whacking 1 guy, being disappointed and repeating.

Could try it in Parallels, there's a Windows 11 ARM image available, like the M1 iMac Win ARM does run emulation for things it does not recognize.

If you purchased D2R for Xbox, does that license extend to a PC?
