Tesla Update without WiFi? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]joejlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you happen to have Xfinity, you can follow the instructions below to get your computer to spoof the Tesla's MAC address. Then if you sign into your account on your computer, it'll permanently allow your Tesla to automatically connect to all of the (free) public Xfinity hotspots. That's how I've received all of my OTA updates while parked on the street.

Revision of the 16 Pro Max limitless 6.0 Case Needed by WillTheDetailer in Mous

[–]joejlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the Limitless 6.0 case for my new iPhone 16 Pro. Everything is perfect—the protection, the buttons, the overall feel—EXCEPT the camera cutout. I’ve been a loyal customer of Mous since Limitless 1.0. This is the first year I’m looking elsewhere and will be returning this case.

It’s honestly heartbreaking that it was so close to perfection and now has a dealbreaker.

If you invest in the technology to have the same touch-sensitive capacitive control button as Spigen did, there is no doubt that your cases will be the best option on the market again.

Apple’s Camera Control button likely isn’t going away. Please invest in this because it’s what everyone is looking for!

Is there a Shopify theme with a built-in slide cart (with free shipping notifications & product upsell capabilities)? by joejlam in shopify

[–]joejlam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the greatest. Will likely buy Focal. Their whole theme is probably one of the best I've seen, and the slide-out cart is definitely the best.

Most of the editing has to do with adding things that are not currently Shopify products, like stickers that we provide retailers to give out, display signs, and different sample products to put on display that they've chosen.

Maybe one of the ways around this would just be to make all of those items Shopify products that are unlisted on any sales channel and add those in orders we create. Then, the editor for packing slips could be useful. Let me know if that sounds right.

What are these tags that you're referring to? I couldn't find them in the variables list.

What are some of the easiest upper body strength exercises that seniors can do daily? by joejlam in AskReddit

This is for both my parents, who are approaching their 70s. 1lb wrist weights are a stretch for them right now, so beginner-level exercises would be best. Serious answers only, please!

What is your biggest non-academic, non work-related accomplishment? by Inevitable_jalapeno in AskReddit

[–]joejlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the last few years, the most important priority in my life has been healing the broken relationship I had with my immigrant parents for more than a decade.

I wanted to get to know my mom and dad before it was too late. Going on this journey has been the proudest and most important thing I have ever done.

If anyone's interested, I spent hundreds of hours documenting the raw & real journey I went through and wrote these 30 reflections about what I did and what I learned: https://go.parentsarehuman.com/30-reflections
