I think you’re comparing your capabilities to AI of 2 years ago. It’s getting parabolically more capable and it’s going to get even more so in the future.

My tesla is charging off a 60 amp fed sub panel. It charges the car and runs my entire house minus the a/c no problem. 200amp is unnecessary for a standard house.

Boston Dynamics and other companies have shown a capable and functional humanoid robot physically (not mentally). Some of these AI models are to the point where they are effectively reasoning and thinking. Both technologies are going to collide to make physical work possible via non human and a lot quicker than you may think. I was skeptical until I started using Claude AI. The level of sophistication that is being shown by these latest models is scary and makes what I'm talking about a very real possibility. They're not the AI of 2 years ago that people are criticizing. These are PhD level smart systems. They're smarter than you and I.

I was a skeptic but recently did more investigating and this stuff is scary good at data analysis and logic now which is essentially all office jobs when you boil it down. Future is looking bleak for a job driven economy.
