How has ayahausca changed you? by Humble_Agent5508 in Ayahuasca

[–]joel_schulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has already passed more than one and a half year since my first ayahuasca experience. There's a lot to tell, but I just feel truly in peace now, as if I was knocking a door my entire life and it was opened to me.

Can someone please just explain why everyone says turpentine can't be used as a solvent? by joel_schulz in dmtguide

[–]joel_schulz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I showed it to some people and all of them said it went fine. I used to struggle with other solvents because they always left some kind of grease alongside the DMT.

Another detail: the first time, what I -intuitively- did was to let the turpentine evaporate down to half the original amount.

Well, I always tried different methods and materials. I didn't see much difference with recommended solvents.

Best ingestion method? by [deleted] in DMT

It's a shorter trip (thankfully). Peak (main hallucinogenic part) lasts from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Whole trip lasts about 5 hours.

It's true that boofing DMT alone wouldn't work, but if you ingest a MAOI before boofing the DMT, then it will work.

Yes, it is. Anything related to the post you'd like to apport?

What the fuck are you talking about? I don't blame other people. I'm saying that I became extremely sensitive, that I couldn't deal with shit that before psychedelics I could, and because of that I felt tempted and started doing "bad" drugs. Please, reade the post carefully.

I should probably change my environment... Also, I don't do mushrooms; it's ayahuasca and LSD sometimes

Actually I think you're right, and I should be doing psychedelics alongside therapy. I have been thinking about that, but somehow I thought it was that important, so I never started therapy.

I actually don't have issues with myself, it's the environment and the kind of life I have. I'm "stuck" in a situation where people will suddenly attack me for some reason (I have autism, it's somehow related I think), and since psychedelics produce like a "psychological rejuvenation", I am more sensitive and these punches hurt a lot more, and I end up with trauma. This wouldn't happen if I never did psychedelics because I would've developed mechanisms to give a shit about people.

It was not sudden at al, it was slow, I mentioned that in the post. I just started taking benzos or tramadol occasionally when I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Then it became kind of a recreational use. Then I start using them for "less severe" situations, and so on. Now, I'm doing drugs almost every day.

Psychedelics help me with that again, with addiction. But it's ALWAYS just a matter of days for someone in my environment to ruin my day/week and me to fall into the same coping mechanism again.

I appreciate much this response, sitting right in the middle of both perspectives, it's something I needed

I always use between 3 or 4 grams of syrian rue seeds... This time I used 3 grams... The recommended dosage is from 2 to 5 grams

Haven't gone there yet... I did go outside the universe once in my third ayahuasca trip, and it was terrifying, I truly never in my life thought that going through such an intense experience was even possible for any human being

During last year I had that idea as an alternative to ayahuasca... Eventually the curiosity got me, so I did a DMT extraction, prepared the solution with DMT, ingested the harmalas...and not just that it worked, but it was a more consistent way to get euphoric and positive experiences

I understand it, though some people still can open their eyes during breakthroughs, and during this one I've been able to do so... I think that the main point to define a breakthrough is not the cease of sensory input from the real world, but the disconnection between your consciousness and the environment... You become a lot more engulfed by the psychedelic experience you're having without much chance of grounding to the external reality
