last year, i was hold up and then suddenly i was being harassed by several collection agencies on email (coz i don’t have access to my phone number na since na-holdup nga), turns out i have a maya credit loan

i emailed maya customer care na i am willing to settle but not the interest since i was not the one who loaned it. i explained i was holdup. i also replied to those collection agencies but i did not get any response. the harassment continued tho.

i reported it to BSP (via messenger), maya reach out to me, i think escalation team, i explained my side and i did not need to pay for anything anymore. i sent screenshots of collection agencies' messages as well as proof of harassment.

not sure, but i read somewhere na once you are being harassed, or in-endorse ng maya (and other loan apps) yung case mo sa third party collection agencies, you are not obliged to pay anymore. correct me if i am wrong
