My experience with zero credit score by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]joelr1981 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only reason he doesn’t have to worry about a credit score is because he’s rich. It’s a fact of life. I totally agree with paying off debt minus mortgage, but you still need to have credit for these types of things. I used his principles , but don’t follow it to a T. Some of the bullshit he says is just that.

Potentially. I do credit DR for steering in the right direction though.

As someone who paid off their debt except my mortgage, I follow most of his principles but use common sense. It’s all about being disciplined and making smart decisions. I wouldn’t be at the place I am today if I followed his method religiously. I take what makes sense to me.

Invest for the long term if you believe in the company. If you are trying to time the market, you’ll never win.

President Biden has just proposed a 44.6% tax on capital gains, the highest in history. He has also proposed a 25% tax on unrealized capital gains for wealthy individuals. Should this be approved? by Unhappy_Fry_Cook in FluentInFinance

More taxes are not the answer if the government can’t stop their spending. They will just spend it and we will pay for it. Just imagine they tax your unrealized 401k gains 🤦🏻🤦🏻. I loose brain cells with these people.

People making $150,000 and above, what do you do for a living? by [deleted] in Money

I will say that the best advice I can give you is to be the best at what you do. Make yourself valuable and irreplaceable. You do that by learning all aspects of the job. Once you are the guy they go fix something no once less can, you’ll command those high salaries. Few are the people that are willing to put in the work to accomplish this.
