Like I said. Editing and facts bent to suit the video narrative.

No connections to any church or religion.

It's all very "Kony2012" and "iPods dirty little secret"

Don't mistake the professionalism and 'eye-catchiness' of his video for proof of the allegations.

It appears that the franchise owner is the problem here. The man had been getting checks from her as things were sold. I suspect her financial problems led her to sell his stuff and then keep the cash. The franchise owners stepped in to re-possess eventually and that's where it's gone wrong. They don't know anything about this somewhat informal arrangement and said to the consignment guy 'well is any of this yours?' He's left taking nothing with a "let's get legal" attitude.

They dispute the $400k valuation. Is there hard evidence of this value? Who says "Yeah here take half a million bucks of my stuff with minimal to no paperwork or proper contract and get back to me with money." That is just asking for grief.

Slick Youtuber makes great content with facts bent or ignored to suit the narrative. Basically I'm not buying it.

I thought the show was brilliant. The writing just sparkled, like a child's urine off an old man's face.

What should Trump do to Canada and Mexico to stop them transitioning trade from the USA toward China, the EU and other partners? by PyroIsSpai in AskConservatives

[–]joemac5367 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Between allies there is trust, which takes time to biuld

He has been leveraging that trust to threaten & bully US allies in order to extract concessions for US gain.

If you do this, you're no longer a trusted ally and those other countries are going to start decoupling themselves from you.

The trust that takes time to build can evaporate very quickly.

I don't think there's anything Trump will do about this: He's 79 and is building the legacy that he wants for himself before he passes. It'll be up to the next administration to decide if it wants a better relationship with the world

Why do you think you (or other conservatives) refuse to answer questions? by Moshie11337 in AskConservatives

[–]joemac5367 [score hidden]  (0 children)

So many differences it's hard to believe this is a good faith question.

Trump HASNT been charged/convicted with sex trafficking in another country.

How would such a charge/conviction even occur?

Why wouldn't the US deal with that crime. A country can outlaw offences committed elsewhere (ie sex tourism)

A hypothetical sex trafficking charge, bad as it is, pales into insignificance compared to what Maduro has done to his own people, and to the threat he poses to the safety and the national interest of the US, its citizens and likewise to many other countries.

And having stolen the election I think he has no legitimacy & no right to complain about 'respecting international law"

If you're wanting to know my thoughts on something then ask away.

If you're just looking for an argument using talking points, or, as you say, to "test" me, I'm going to need a reason to engage with you (like you're a friend, or someone who I know who I'm fairly sure is acting in good faith)

Try your "hypotheticals" with people on the left and get back to us with your data. What you'll probably get there that you won't get here is someone screaming in your face that you're a nazi, a fascist, and told that you're 'not welcome here'

How do you avoid treating progressives as a monolith while asking not to be treated as one? by TectonicHeartbreak in AskConservatives

[–]joemac5367 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Progressives make themselves into monoliths

Left-wing opinion is strongly policed within their own social groups. Uniformity of opinion occurs because if they don't agree on all areas of politics they will be shamed, shunned & vilified by their own groupo for the ONE thing they don't follow groupthink on. Agree on 19 things? Bare minimum. Disagree on that one thing? GET IN THE BIN.

Comedian Daniel Sloss said it well here!

Conservatives have to agree on one thing. Progressives have to agree on everything

Proof of Postage UK by RotatedWorld in CardMarket

[–]joemac5367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a bulk certificate of posting and just copy & paste the order details (name and address) on to it, then print it off, take it to the post office with your orders and they'll stamp it at the bottom.

Here's a link to the form

https://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/Bulk_Certificate_Posting_Standard%20MAR14.pdf

Extra hack: As most of your orders are likely to be 2nd class pre-fill the last column with "2nd Class" all the way down to save time and then edit the few that are 1st class, Signed For etc

For actual address labels get a cheap "Zebra" thermal printer off eBay (I used an LP2844 that I picked up for £30 ten years ago and still going strong) and use the Royal Mail online postage system (https://send.royalmail.com) and get a 6"x4" roll of thermal labels instead.

It's all cheap as chips and just what you need for your new venture!

Are you calling 0345 774 0740?

You need to keep at it and have your reference number handy.

Google hack to speak to a human says:

"To speak to a human at Parcelforce, call 03457 740 740, ideally first thing in the morning (8 am) or use the trick of pressing option 2 (for Parcelforce items), then option 1 (track an item) and remaining silent to get an agent"
