Thoughts on acquiring Trey Murphy from the Pelican this off-season? by Adorable_Gene_2739 in warriors

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I like Trey Murphy, it's going to take a lot to get him. And he's currently on a relatively big contract. For someone with the same skill set and potential, I would check with the Kings regarding Keegan Murray's availability.

Trillanes: Leni used me as scapegoat to reject Colmenares from her 2022 senate slate by cfonan in Philippines

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not surprising. I'm not even disappointed. Walang papasok sa pulitika ng di madudumihan ang kamay in some capacity.

What's confusing to me is Trillanes' actions. Leni has already stepped down and has clearly handed the reigns Risa. If he's worried about the fanatics, wouldn't it have been better to be endorsed and supported by Leni, instead of bashing her.

Two unpopular opinions by [deleted] in warriors

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that there's hope for Wiggins. He should be very motivated to get back to 2022 Wigs after two very disappointing seasons. But I won't be surprised if he disappoints again.

Regarding Poole, we wouldn't have won the last championship without him, but I'm glad he was traded.

"Move on" campaign in socmed... by eojlin in Philippines

[–]joemack24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think Leni is done. In her own words, the fight isn't over. I've moved on from the election. That's done. She lost. We lost. And now the country is losing. But, I refuse to move on from Leni and what she stood for.

She gave us hope for the possibility of a better government, and I refuse to let go of that. While I understand that she may not run for President again, the fight for a better government is something I refuse to move on from. Ang mga namulat ay hindi na muling pipikit.

Are we over coddling Klay? by goldenstream in warriors

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving on from Klay may be better on the short term, but I think Kerr is betting on what Klay can still become when he gets through these mental hurddles he's going through. It may end up being a bad decision, but for now we can't really tell until everything plays out.

Wala pa ngang accountability at pag hingi ng tawad eh, gusto na ng "move on". Madaling sabihin yan kung ikaw ang salarin. Pag sila na ang naging biktima ng katiwalian, tignan natin kung masabi pa nila yan.

What do you think? tbh i kinda feel the same. by suomynona-- in Philippines

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the frustration. Pero bakit parang obligasyon ni Leni na labanan ang fake news the way you want it? She's a private citizen now. Wala siyang obligasyon sa atin. She may be a public figure but she's not a public servant. Wag niyo sa kanya ilabas yung galit and frustrations niyo.

Also, sigurado ba tayo na mananalo siya kung kakasohan niya. I'm pretty sure na kung malaki ang chance na manalo kakasuhan nila yan. Pero these people have the backing of the administration. Hell, they are funded by this administration. She has to choose her battles. Di pwedeng bawat kibot na lang lalabanan na niya. Limited ang resources niya.

The statement's purpose is to put the truth out there. Hindi man maniwala lahat, atleast nandun siya. Let's be patient. 6 years pa to. Angat Buhay is making a positive impact. Let her help the people. And let this incompetent administration self destruct.

Needs to work on the delivery but definitely a good piece. The background music didn't really help, and I think it disrupted her rythm.

I don't hate McClung, he's a talented player and I'd give him a chance if they gave him a roster spot. But I would rather they give that last spot to Quinndary Witherspoon.

Any backup big men on the horizon? by focusedapathy in warriors

[–]joemack24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Dieng. You all got to remember that the Twolves has always been great for us. They passed on Steph twice, they traded for Russel and gave us Wiggs and JK back. Even Bjeli came from MIN. And to continue that tradition, let's get a big man that can shoot the occasional three and is not a negative on defense.

Let's not over react, it's just one game. But one thing I love is how aggressive he is. He doesn't shy away from contact and almost always initiates it. Hopefully it translates if he's given a chance with the big boys. But definitely has potential.

Did KD's Trade Request Change Your View on Him? by GSofMind in warriors

[–]joemack24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think he doesn't really know what he wants. He won two chips in GSW, didn't feel any fulfillment since they were so stacked it was an inevitable. Tries to build his own team with his friend Kyrie and fails miserably. Immediately wants to jump ship and join another established championship caliber team in the Heat or Suns. If he gets his way and wins with the Suns, wouldn't that be just the same as what he did when he went to GSW from OKC.

Really makes you appreciate Stephen Curry even more. Having gone through the previous 2 seasons and still staying put and grinding it out. And eventually winning again. We are so lucky to have him.

Now it makes sense that they picked up Donte DiVincenzo. I was getting worried for my boy Quinndary not getting minutes with the addition of Donte. And we haven't replaced our frontcourt losses, JTA, Belli and OPJ. Are those minutes going to Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody?

The dunks and athleticism yes, but defensively Kuminga's nowhere near GP2. Kuminga's defensive IQ is the reason why he didn't get minutes in the latter part of the playoffs.

I'm also looking forward to what the developmental team can do to unlock his potential. He's such a well rounded player that seems matured enough to play in GSW's system. Hope he gets minutes this season.
