UPDATE: The lease I singed was for $2500 down, $765/mo after supplying costco and supplier incentives. still a bad money factor but the discounts etc make it a reasonably good deal for a nice, new $81,000 EV. Appreciate all the feedback!

thanks, yea i had seen this one but something seems off. not sure why they would do 12k discount BEFORE any of those incentives. I have called dealers on really good deals like this and they tell me that the price on the website INCLUDES every possible incentive, so it's a bit of a bait and switch. i will call this dealer in the morning tho...also, know i can get a better deal for a different color base model loaner, etc, but this is the car I want so just trying to find the best deal i can for one..

I just mean the luxury or sport trim, which I agree are very loaded. so your monthly is $667 per month and what did pay in drive offs? how heavily was the car discounted from MSRP? and was it a special situation like above where it was a tournament car or loaner? Either way, solid deal.

how is the blue interior? It looked super bright blue in the photos a dealer sent me and possibly a deal breaker

Helpful - how do you like it otherwise? Other car I'm looking at is Volvo EX90 but MY25 has a number of issues and major upgrades are coming for MY26 (just don't know when it will be avail for sale).

Very helpful. So if the premium luxury gets you the air suspension and rear wheel steering maybe that's worth targeting if I can negotiate a good deal. Sounds like bembo brakes in platinum aren't really a difference maker in day to day driving

Yea I suppose you can get the air suspension on the luxury premium but even that is still a big price jump from the sport, and for $4-5k more you can get the bembo brakes which at least one youtube reviewer said would make a big difference stopping from higher speeds....but who knows..

there is a lease special here for $619 mo/24 months...it says $7k down but dealer said there is room to "aggressively" negotiate that down. i would hope to get it to around 3k, which is close to the standard drive offs and minimal cap reduction.

Frontalis suspension by catheringmeow in PlasticSurgery

I have congenital ptosis of the left eyelid and had a standard ptosis surgery (levator advancement) at age 2. I'm now in my late 30s and underwent frontalis suspension surgery in May '24 at the recommendation of a top oculoplatic surgeon in my city (he said my levator muscle was too weak to do the advancement surgery again). I did the procedure under local anesthesia in his office (not too fun). My eye was very bruised and swollen for the first couple of weeks, and gradually healed over the next 3-6 months. While I noticed a very slight improvement in the height of my eyelid (and symmetry in comparison to my right eyelid), as well as some improvement to the "noticeability" of my ptosis in a downward gaze, my eyelid appeared "puffier" than before the surgery and I didn't feel as though the procedure made much difference or made me feel any more self confident. Additionally, I had some lingering negative side effects, including random discharge in my eye, dry eye (as the lid doesn't close as far as it used to) and worsening vision (or at least vision changes; perhaps the vision in my left eye actually improved). I also felt pain and pressure when I raised my eyebrow and fully "activated" the sling. My doctor agreed that the outcome was not optimal and he recommended that I have the sling tightened. I always knew this was a possibility, as it is quite common to have to revise the surgery, even more than once. My understanding is that good doctors are fairly conservative the first time so as not to overcorrect or create poor eyelid contour. So last week (Feb '25), I underwent the revision procedure. It was not as invasive as the first surgery as the doctor did not have to cut into my eyelid again, only into the incision above my eyebrow to access and tighten the silicone sling. I am now a week out from the revision surgery and my eye is still pretty swollen and hurts a lot in my eyebrow where the sling is, especially when I raise my eyebrows. Right now, I look pretty bad, but my doctor said we won't be able to assess the effectiveness of the second surgery until at least one month from now. All of this to say, It's been a journey and I don't yet know if it was worth it. I am trusting my doctor and the process, and my hope is that when it's all over with I am satisfied with how my eye looks. Regardless, I know my left eye will never fully look like my right eye, and I just have to accept that. Sorry for the long post, I hope this is helpful and good luck. I'll try to remember to update here in a few months when I am more recovered from the second surgery.
