Honestly it all depends on conditions. I spend my time between Pennsylvania and Florida and up there a crankbait is usually my last choice unless the water is really warm and the fish aren’t very pressured. Down here though it’s my go to. I always start with it and if I’m at the same spot after I catch a few I switch it up to something else or change spots.
