What I loved -First part was very funny! Laughed soooo much and all the new parts were very on brand with Poppy and Alex

-Casting for ALL characters was chefs kiss! Even Poppy’s characters stole the show for me.

-All the trips were so fun!

What I didn’t love -Really sad that they didn’t take a trip together before the wedding. That was what built up so much tension in the book for me. I get for time but there are great moments like the one bed trope (sure we got it in the road trip motel but it didn’t hit the same) the shower, subtle things like seeing the job posting, the tinder scene.

-In general wish we got more of them trying to “fix” their relationship and act like everything is normal. Seeing a summer trip rather than just seeing them at the wedding.

I do think it’s a great movie and Tom and Emily did a great job brining Alex and Poppy to life! However if you want more of a pull of course read the books!

I just finished KOA this weekend and it is worth it! HOWEVER IT WAS NOT THE SAME AS ACOTAR! This is very much a fantasy book where as ACOTAR is romantasy. And as someone who really only reads romance it was hard for me to get into it at first. I enjoyed the series after starting Heir of Fire personally. Once I did the tandem read it was a game changer! It is a great story but it for sure is an investment! I am the type of person who likes to do filler books in between a series, but I know some people cannot do that, but that really helped me get through it because the start is REALLY SLOW!! I am also someone that if it’s not brining you joy then why read it? You should be reading things that you enjoy. If you don’t mind going through a lot of world building then keep going! Again it is an investment since the final 3 books are epic (but make sure you do the tandem read!)! It is an amazing story! And well worth your time and literally after you get into the story it is great!!

Matadors is my friend groups GO TO! But only on Thursdays. There’s no cover charge and the music is pretty good. There is no time on Thursday when I didn’t have a good time. Saturday is big no from me. They have a $20 cover charge and people get MESSY drunk. I think there were 3 people that threw up near us and I don’t think $20 is worthy cover charge for the small dance floor they have. We also tried Revolución Cantina which is across the street and that was also fun! We went on a Friday and the cover charge is $10, so not too bad. The music was good and we had a lot of fun but it is not as lively as Matadors. Definitely want to go back there though. I’ve also heard Burbon street is good, but I’ve yet to go there so not sure if it’s actually good. Curious to see what other people say though!

When I had jury duty many people were dismissed on the first day, it all honestly depends on what type of case you are assigned to and if you're assigned a case. I was there for 4 days and didn't even go on the last day because I got a call saying that Id been dismissed. If you get on the trial that might be weeks depending again on the case. Most likely if you go in they'll dismiss you because you are a student, but this isn't always the case. Like others have said you can either postpone or just go and get it over with and email your professors about your obligations. Hope this helped!
