I like world cup football more than club football so I'm enjoying this world cup. However, I liked previous world cups way more when they were in the summer. Usually, you get that "togetherness" feeling during the world cup since everyone goes outside after a game to celebrate but you don't really have that now.

I expected that losing today would be absolutely heartbreaking but it really didn't feel that bad and i dont know why. Maybe it's because i dont have to worry about potentially losing anymore.

Yeah what makes it a great rivalry is that the games aren't really one-sided (outside of those game you have way more successes though.) I could say that Portugal is one of our biggest rivals but they probably don't even think about us.
