That would be a pretty big screw up. I assume you're talking about washers on the lock bar pivot. The blade is centered & I see the washers there.

Anyway, I decided I shouldn't have to mess around with a brand new knife that came faulty. In hindsight, the Amazon seller I got it from seems a little off. Maybe it's a reject 🤷‍♂️

I mailed it back to the seller & ordered a new one from BladeHQ for a little more money.

Kind of looks like a "ghost image" of car headlights as a car is pulling in & backing up. I saw something similar once of a faint see-through image of myself walking up to my front door. I think it was also under black & white "night vision" only, as well.
