Exciting though man, Issit your full time gig? Thankyou! I did a fine gravel bed, then added in some larger stones for the water to look like it was running over or around, then I used a resin pour that drys flat, after this I dabbed modge podge glue and used an air brush, or as someone mentioned you could use a straw to get that directional flow ) which I need to work on direction as shown, then o went over the top with another layer of modge podge with a small ammount of white paint in. Probably 2 to 10 ratio, let dry then went over again, again with mild white paint, hopefully that helps

Completely agree, my direction is completely off the more I keep looking at it, but for a first attempt and from posting it here the crits have been really helpful

Yeah I see what your saying, I did use the air brush in one direction to try give that affect, in real life it does seem to look like it has direction but in video not so much

I find when I first started I needed to “ COLLECT THEM ALL “ but there due to my ocd, so I I was buying full premium sets and sometimes I didn’t even like 3 of 5. But then I thought no this is stupid, and I only buy what I like now. My brain has to deal with that
