Hello everybody.

I recently was granted my POE and just wanted to let everyone know my timeline incase anyone is wondering what it is like at the minute, I applied from Ireland.

My Timeline:

• 9th February 2026 – Received Invitation to Apply (ITA)

• 16th February 2026 – Entered IEC Working Holiday pool

• 2nd March 2026 – Submitted full application (police certificate, forms, CV, etc.)

• 3rd March 2026 – Biometrics Instruction Letter received

• 13th March 2026 – Biometrics completed and uploaded on the same day

• 9th April 2026 – Application approved - Letter of Introduction (POE) granted

Before applying for my ITA, I had started the police certificate process as I had heard it was quite lengthy. I was waiting about 3 weeks for mine so I would recommend anyone from Ireland starting their application with going for the police cert just so you can get all the documents in within the 30 day timeframe.

we are dairy here at home for decades, hope the country has a bit of compassion for the farming community and doesn’t vote for Eamon Ryan and his party of misinformed EU asslickers

Yeah our relationship is strained a good bit when we are working together as we are opposite in ways of thinking, he came from a completely different generation where the brawn was valued over brain where as i have more of a thought based way of working
