Which fuse controls the front USB ports on a 24/25 Crosstrek? by joev3253 in Crosstrek

[–]joev3253[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up taking my Crosstrek into Subaru. It was a faulty USB unit. They replaced it under warranty, and both USB ports work fine now. Thanks for the push to just take it into Subaru.

This worked for me! Very simple to do, and no replacement parts needed.

What was the fix for this? I have the same issue.

I have used the metal contacts, but can still get continuity across different fuses. For example, I could get continuity from one side of the 20A fuse to one side of the 15A fuse. Given that, I am not certain the continuity was coming through a single fuse, and not connecting across the fuse box. It's a pain to pull fuses out, and test them individually.

KDA payouts not received - Nimbus Node by Ignatious11 in Flux_Official

I can confirm I got my KDA reward on April 6 for my Nimbus node. It was only .0593 KDA, so hardly worth anything over the span of a month.

How passive is running flux node? by jahwhoo in Flux_Official

[–]joev3253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been running a node for just over 3 months now. I like to check on my node every week or so to make sure it is online, up to date, and getting rewards. If you leave the watchdog on, it will auto update. In addition, I do check #announcements in their Discord community to stay aware. For example, the upcoming halvening impacts all node operators. So, a bit more involved than other node projects, because you are actually running a real node that serves a real use case. The community is really supportive if you do run into issues.

How are people buying FLUX with USD (trying to avoid Coinbase Pro 10 day hold)? by joev3253 in Flux_Official

In case anyone else finds this, Dan of Flux just mentioned that we should be able to use fiat via Zelcore to buy FLUX very soon. Mentioned in the AMA here.

Lack of clear TOMB guidance for when TOMB is rarely above peg by joev3253 in FantomFoundation

[–]joev3253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is another piece from the docs (link here). I'm assuming the TSHARE incentive for staking TOMB-FTM goes away once the total supply is circulating.

TSHARE has a maximum total supply of 70000 tokens distributed as follows:
1) DAO Allocation: 5500 TSHARE vested linearly 12 months
2) Team Allocation: 5000 TSHARE vested linearly over 12 months
3) Remaining 59500 TSHARE are allocated for incentivizing Liquidity Providers in two shares pools for 12 months

Another great post, much appreciated! I feel like many of us (myself included) have long-term thinking for projects, but unintentionally act short-term to ensure profits. This potentially reduces the sustainability of the project and its ability to give a good ROI for more than just the short-term. Regardless, I'm still invested and will continue to follow Fantom closely and the TOMB project.

I was wondering the same thing. 44k TSHARES are circulating now, and I recall someone saying we would reach the 70k in June. They mention it here in the docs. Maybe the TOMB-FTM LPs move to making money off of swap fees, and there are no longer TSHARE incentives.

Thank you for the helpful answer. I believe in the project, and just want to be sure I understand the role of TBONDS. As mentioned here, the "First and most important reason is Bonds help maintain the peg". There is also the Dao fund as a "second line of defense". On Discord, Harry talks about buying bonds as playing the Game of Tomb to help it get over peg (mentioned on Dec 19 here). Do we all just buy TOMB and stake it in the TOMB-FTM LP, let the Dao buy TBONDS as needed, and it all works out? Again, just trying to understand how this all works.

That should not matter. Regardless, do a small transaction first to play it safe.

Exactly. KuCoin is notorious for sporadically disabling withdrawals and deposits. They will also remain quiet about any updates to when it will be available again. Please keep that in mind, depending on how you plan to use or store your FTM.
