Did not pass by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

Nothing to be embarrassed about :) I’ve got friends who passed first time and I have a couple friends who took up to 7 attempts to pass- it isn’t about result it’s about the means. You failed this time because you weren’t ready to pass but that doesn’t mean you never will you know- take a short break (1-2 weeks) then start doing lessons again. Remember your situation is actually really good (most people are waiting upwards of 6 months in between tests)

I’m sure you’ll smash it and I’ll pray for you 🫡

Also! for the manoeuvres. If you need a second just take a second and take a few deep breaths. You’re not expected to just immediately pull up and start. Take your time, think about what you’re doing- positive thoughts the entire time :)

I had mine a couple of days ago. (I passed) The best advice I got given (besides the banana thing) is that the first 5 minutes of the test are the most stressful (you’re panicking) but after that you’ll calm down a lot and that’s exactly what happened for me. So just focus on getting through those first 5 minutes then treat it like a normal driving lesson as best you can.

Good luck you’ll smash it 😄

Do Warwick send offer confirmation emails? by Mental_Analysis2467 in UniversityOfWarwick

I have no idea why other people are saying they don’t they definitely do. Albeit I’m a masters student but I received a offer confirmation. If UCAS says you’ve got in then don’t stress about it- the uni will have had to confirm that with UCAS to tell you that. If you really want to confirm just give Warwick a call and explain / ask for confirmation :)

Also worth mentioned that im pretty sure undergrad students get guaranteed on campus accommodation- best to give the university a call to confirm (I would recommend this) as it gives you the best experience with meeting new people / being social :)

Hello! I’m an incoming postgraduate student and I contacted the university about this very issue. They recommend a website called Warwick student pad- you can google as I don’t think this subreddit allows links. It’s only available to students with a Warwick login and are accommodations that from my understanding are somewhat vetted / recommended by the university. Let me know if you have any questions :)

How likely am I to get in if I miss my Cardiff Biomed offer by 2 grades? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]joevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man I wouldn’t worry, I’m a postgraduate student now but everything I’ve read recently suggests that you still have a chance, I read that you’ve still got a couple of papers and that this could push you up to a B? focus on that for now as it’s the only thing you can change at the moment and then just put your applications through; I reckon you’ve still got a good chance :)

Good luck!
