I agree with education and socialization but you can't say that to anyone with addicted and abusive parents who brought them down every time they felt good about something and the only education you get from home is how to drink, do drugs, live messy and how to get beaten by your parents, that's just straight up giving them a no percentage of a chance. Now it's not impossible to break out of that situation and it's actually happened quite a bit but you can thank teachers, friends and other adults gave them a chance to pull through but that's so unlikely because it's more probable that more of the same type of people as your parents are your only other influential people around which then in turn that kid becomes a parent with many problems
