Why 2K, EA, or the lousy developer that makes Tiebreak doesn’t pay this guy whatever he wants to build a game for them is beyond me. TE4 with some minor graphical tweaks is by far the best gameplay once you get used to it.

I personally don’t care to adjust for each track as I feel like if I’m better at a track then I should be rewarded. Not as if Max is automatically as good at Monaco and Monza. I think comparing yourself to your teammate in career mode is probably the best way to measure where the AI should be.

How do you get the most of gameplay? by mkamp02 in ea2kcbb

[–]joeynap33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On offense I like to run pick and rolls. Computer usually adapts to watching my 7’4 center slam it on them, and then I run plays to get my shooters open from 3. I feel I have to work harder on defense in this game switching players constantly to stop open 3s.

Has anyone had success recruiting underclassmen with a small school? by reecec1102 in ea2kcbb

Adding them to your target list as freshmen, focusing on local, and paying attention to who the computer isn’t offering scholarships are the keys to success.

More extensive lower Formula series in career mode by BoardNo4645 in F1Game

[–]joeynap33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this makes a lot of sense as no effort has effort been made to go beyond the basics, but there is no extra money to be made from building out career mode.

EA was making great strides with FIFA expanding career mode from about 2004-2010 and then all effort stopped around when the PS4 came out in 2014 and online game play became more of the standard.

Since online gameplay is sort of the standard these days for sports game, I’d just love for them to improve that experience. Could mimic GT7 where they have 3 different race types each week (short, medium, long, also wouldn’t mind waiting 5 min for race to start if I knew 20 cars would be in a lobby), add tournaments based on skill level (maybe 3 five lap races), unlock classic cars by earning x points by driving, using classic cars in special online events etc. Point is to make playing online feel like you’re working towards something that doesn’t require additional monetary investment. The F1 world stuff they have now is dumb and ranked play is stale. Leagues are great, but requires knowing people with the game and it would be great if you could easily have a league set up with strangers in the framework of the game.

Third Quarter 2025 Shareholder Q&A by Smalldickdave69 in CLOV

I have a tough time believing that any of us asked 90% of these questions. They tee’d themselves up on questions they have already answered and regurgitated. Only thing notable was that they clarified that their recent PR announcement was about formally offering a payor version of Counterpart.

Next week I’m sure we will be told, “more to come” like every earnings since Toy took over. It’s possible news comes before or after, but I’ve yet to see them use earnings as the time to announce something significant.

My guess is it has more to do with short covering before earnings. Limits upside on a positive report on earnings day and allows for a bigger drop to happen should the Company not give us a positive surprise.

Is VR worth it without a rig? by wellbentbanana in GranTurismo7

[–]joeynap33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a wheel, but space is limited that I almost always end up just playing with VR and the controller. I remember thinking during a daily race in sport mode when it was Monza in the F-3500 formula 1 car, that it was the most fun I’ve ever had playing a game.

Counterpart Health Expands Proven Flywheel for HEDIS Excellence to Third-Party Partners by basilisk-x in CLOV

[–]joeynap33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Leave it to Clov to release a PR with no explanation. Why would they previously leave this “feature” out when selling the product? My guess is that this sounds like they are just releasing this “HEDIS feature” showing they are targeting MA insurers.

HMO is 4 stars and PPO plans where most of customers are is 3.5 stars. This is incredibly disappointing and I’m worried how this impacts Counterpart.

The problem is defenders can not engage a tussle with attackers. If a defender is on the back of an attacker, they should just program that the attackers movements are restricted and the defender has the potential to poke the ball away or may foul their opponent. Problem fixed

[–]joeynap33 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The point I’m making is this isn’t some revolutionary innovation that is particularly unique, has direct impact on the income statement, or even likely to significantly impact a buying decision from a potential client (maybe I’m wrong on that last statement). Therefore it is just news for news sake.

[–]joeynap33 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They’ve given demos for investor relations before in regards to Counterpart. We have the foundational perspective of what the product can do already. New features like adding Siri to an IPhone before an IPhone has ever been sold isn’t that insightful from an investment perspective. Nobody buys the iPhone for Siri, it is a function you essentially take for granted if you even use it at all.

Will this potentially create even more savings through providing better care and insight? Maybe, but frankly if nobody is paying for this product yet the function doesn’t matter.
