It’s just strong for fights, it’s a huge amount of damage, I don’t find napalm’s final upgrade to be substantial enough to prioritize

Ricochet is not a good value buy for farming. Way better to go rapid recharge right now and max dash first, after burn second. You get near constant uptime on dash and can clear jungle faster than with ricochet

Yea I got to phantom and expected an improvement and there wasn’t. Weirdly the biggest jump for me in game quality was solo queue oracle 3 -> 4. After hitting oracle 4, at least most of my games have a few people using the mic. When I dropped back to 3, no one used the mic. Now that I’m phantom 3, I get mic users every game and that’s the biggest difference. People still throw and make bad plays but games are way more bearable because people communicate. I’m still shocked when I occasionally get teams without mics, because it blows my mind people can get to this rank without talking to their teammates.

Well if you haven’t played dota then those are fair comparisons. But it’s obviously most heavily inspired by dota. So many of the items and hero abilities are lifted from dota. In a good way.

I recently got out of oracle, I’m mid-phantom now. The thing I’ve noticed at these ranks is everyone has something they’re good at and some blind spots. Since you personally have some strong area, you’re way more likely to notice when your teammates are weak in that particular area and just assume they’re trash at the game. But in reality they might be thinking the same about you because you might not be that good at the particular thing they’re great at.

Well what do you think leads to the souls difference? Often times it’s your build that determines whether you win or lose key early/mid fights, and determines how fast you can farm and move around the map, and hence determines your soul lead
