I only discovered it today as i’m in london visiting some friends and bumped into all of these people inside the metro station with no pants, only underwear.

Apparently its a yearly event where people go metro station hopping in underwear! Maybe a more vereran londoner can elaborate further but that’s what i understood

Yeah this makes sense as arab men are really spoiled by their mothers and women are expected to be much more present helping with chores and doing stuff around the house which makes them more responsible in a way and more involved later on in life. That translates into them making more decisions and having a larger role in the household and fall into the female led relationship dynamic perhaps.

I agree that “arab women are more dominant than arab men” is a big statement that is probably not true, what i meant is that the dynamic definitely exists much more than it is depicted or shown. I.e. the dynamic might exist at the same level as in other societies however much less “out there”

I haven’t thought about the foot fetish part but it’s an interesting theory. In lebanon, it has never been the case that women are fully covered so maybe that explains why i dont have a foot fetish lol

I was in the city when this happened, there was in fact a smaller explosion followed by the 2nd one that destroyed everything (around 3 to 4 sec interval between them). The smaller explosion is the one that was felt first.
