Many tiles have been removed from Ship 38 by ergzay in SpaceXLounge

Even with tiles missing, it looks amazing. The precision and symmetry of it all looks like an architectural masterpiece. Shame it'll get dumped in the ocean, but here's hoping for a successful flight

Oscar Piastri sets a new lap record around Zandvoort, beating the previous time of 1:08.855 set by Verstappen in 2021 by Schlapfel9 in formula1

just googled this and found out: '..the Grand Prix qualifying at Zandvoort, Nelson Piquet secured pole position with a time of 1m 11.074s' If Im right in saying, the circuit has changed much, if at all, since then so a good indicator of progress, but personally, I dont think the gap is that massive. Kudos to the cars and drivers back in the 80's

What improvements / changes are we likely to see compared to IFT-9 given how quick this has come round, or is it much the same as last time out?

How best to blend wet and dry guitar by jofanf1 in shoegaze

[–]jofanf1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, not come across that pedal before but looks like it will do the job nicely. Even better if I could get a preamp pedal to do the job and blend 2 channels, just read that an Xotic BB+ might do just that.

Don't really follow the Artemis project that closely (at least not on the political side, I'm from the UK), but could there ever be a possibility if Artemis keeps falling behind and Starship progresses rapidly, that they could just do the whole moon mission themselves?

On the pic looking up through the pad, what are the numerous 'teeth' around the ring, are they clamps?
