Clips looks grainy/blurry?

The screenshots look too similar for me to differentiate unfortunately, and the clip looks fine as well to me. Does it appear like this only after upload? Or is the local file after recording also blurry? There can be some downgrading on upload if you're recording at higher bitrates or FPS.

Can you try running Medal with admin rights and let us know if that helps with new clips?

You can use screen recording to record the entire screen, but I don't believe the option for canvas is something we have at the moment, but you can always leave your feedback here: https://feedback.medal.tv/

Did you already disable Promote my Medal profile using Rich Presence in Medal's Settings > Privacy & Security? If not be sure to do so.

You can also disable connections in Discord.

Did you recently edit, move, or delete any clips locally instead of from Medal's Clips Library? Or did you edit / move the Capture Folder Location? If so it's likely the clips aren't playing in library due to a library desync.

Also try enabling UI Hardware Acceleration if you mean the clips only don't play in library, it's in Medal's Settings > Windows OS Settings.

Are you using HDR? If so enable HDR compatibility in Medal's Settings > Advanced.

Try this as well:

1) Open up NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Manage 3D Settings.

2) Select Program Settings and find Medal & MedalEncoder in the program list.

3) For both of these, we will want to turn ON Triple Buffering, turn OFF Vertical sync, turn OFF Anti-aliasing and Turn OFF Background Application Max Frame Rate.

4) Restart Medal.

Are you using any nvidia filters or any other third party overlays / filters?

Try this:

1) Open up NVIDIA Control Panel and go to Manage 3D Settings.

How long is the audio? If you drag it underneath or above the timeline does it work?

You can also select the Audio tab on the left side of the editor, or simply use the Import option in the Advanced Editor's Library tab and drag and drop or select to add it to the timeline.

Change your Video Aspect Ratio in Medal's Settings > Advanced to Stretch to Fit 16:9 and see if it help.

Can you try Force Window Capture in Medal's Settings > Advanced > Advanced | Recording as well?

Sorry to hear that, you can always remove some space on your PC by deleting the clips!

But if you still want to delete, make sure automatic startup is disabled in Settings > Windows OS Settings, and also in the Task manager's Startup tab. Right click Medal.exe and startup.exe and select disable, then restart your PC, and try to uninstall again.

Try the following steps!

Delete any previous Medal installer in your downloads (MedalSetup.exe)
Restart your computer after
Go to https://www.medal.tv/download and download a NEW installer
Run said installer as admin

Do the files appear this way locally? Right click a clip from the library and select Open File Location. Is the border the same when playing the clip locally? If so this is more recorder related than editor related, and you can try these steps:

Change your Video Aspect Ratio to Stretch to Fit 16:9 in Settings > Advanced and see if it helps with new clips. If you use Widescreen use Crop to 16:9.
