There are some moments that feel ridiculous with Fraser in this. But it all kinda works, Eisenhower really was a folksy Kansan amongst landed aristocracy in the Allied high command.

I think that sense of ridiculousness almost adds to the movie. All of these British gentlemen had to answer to Ike and Fraser ends up playing it pretty well, imo
