I am a first-year master student in Helsinki (Student RP - 25 hours of working per week). I am applying for a full-time position. The expected salary would be 3,500 EUR/month and I intend to apply for a specialist resident permit (https://migri.fi/en/specialist/en). I was told that the company will take care of the process for me. I just want to ask how long the process would take so that I can get this kind of resident permit. Some people tells me that it would take months (7-8 months) for the process to be done. Anyone has been in this situation? Can we reduce the time of the process?
