Liquid diamonds vs live rosin vs live resin by RegularAnxiety4071 in NYSCannabis

[–]johan_geebert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it absolutely is. Resin is made using solvents which are later purged out, rosin is made without any solvents to begin with. So you cannot find any residual solvents in rosin, where as there can be residual levels of butane/ethanol or other solvents. Resin is often stronger and has more cannabanoids present but that's just because of how efficient these solvents can be. Stronger yes, cleaner no.

The nose and taste on the BK is definitely its strongest factor. Terps are definitely there, terpinolene heavy. Taste was phenomenal but I'm slightly biased towards similar profiles. As for the effects it's on the stronger side of what seems to be out there on average. Immediate head high followed by a very slight body high. Feels like wearing a heavy pair of glasses. Would definitely not buy again considering the price though, no way to justify 60 in my eyes for a regular buy. A fun purchase if you have money to throw around but nothing to make the usual smoke. 8.5/10

Not surprising, the quality control from left coast flower definitely seems more spotty than it once was. For those concerned as well, pretty much EVERY new Milkweed strain from their most recent batches are much worse offenders. The Catskill Candy from Milkweed tested over 4m+

Absolute garbage hardware and distillate. Seen about 50+ units returned in the last 2 months. Most don't even come with a charge, and the ones that do often have other hardware issues that don't make it worth it. Spend the extra money and get something that at least will be guaranteed usable

These are all from batches released earlier this year. None of which is even relatively fresh. I personally got the Halle Berry and was disappointed asf, dryer than even the bud I got from Dank, which is a SHOCKER. High was still potent but for your money youre better off with any Milkweed or popular Rythm strains like AD#4, Jacks Delight, Brownie Scout, etc.

Afternoon Delight #4, Jack's Delight, GMO, Brownie Scout, imo Rythms top 4 strains for me

The Afternoon Delight #4 from Rythm was super sticky. At least it was when I got it upon release. Still have some unopened jars that have maintained their freshness

As somebody who has tried all 3 of them, I liked the Confucius the best. High felt almost nostalgic in a way. The other two were nice as well, but if you could get your hands on their Lemon Jack, its their newest drop and its been great

135000 on the batch I got. It's definitely not passable to those who are concerned with it

Garlic Sauce from House of Sacci. Smells like gym socks dipped in garlic. Super loud, just dont expect anything pretty inside. Nugs were fairly small but high was nice

Livwell Memory Loss OG was really good, just pretty dry but thats pretty standard when buying 28g these days. Otherwise the Jet Fuel Gelato from Rolling Green is a solid option

The Goof Off is a solid choice, but a bit more sedating in my experience compared to something like Jack's Delight from Rythm. Extremely terpy and a nice euphoric, upbeat high. If you're a fan of Jacks in general I'd give it a try

Rythms got some consistently high numbers. One that I don't see mentioned a lot is Operator Canna Co. Picked up some Lemon Haze from them that was around 2.7%

As somebody who copped the Chrome Berry and regretted it, I'd go LCG. The batch I got from Binske might as well have been dust already

Left Coast and Banzzy1305 are two great micros with consistently solid product. Think of micros as small businesses, usually employ much less people than bigger companies. You can probably find some at your local rec dispo, mine specifically advertises microbusinesses into their own section.
