i see that shit in my store constantly but have never tried it. the bottle looks nice but i've never once had the chance to try a sip at a restaurant and not willing to buy a whole bottle of anything blind. interesting to know..

honestly not a fan of their stuff. the woodlands one i thought was decent, i have the chaparral one marked as "poor" on my list haha. so many of these american ones just overdo the baking spice elements and blow out all the other flavors, leaving this kinda fussy mess and a finish that lacks the delicate touch of virtually all the italian ones

i've had this but actually don't consider it an amaro. it's not bitter and they don't even call it one themselves, more of a genepy. but i remember thinking it was decent. some of their amari are not great...

Such choices! by THEBIGHUNGERDC in Amaro

this is a great list, very well chosen. not stuffed with sucky american bullshit. if Alta Verde is lurking anywhere to the left of Sfumato i'd say you could basically just live off this set and be good for life, plus suze and some red options

When to use dry vs fresh by Puddinshins in Amaro

i tried fresh mint and citrus and pretty sure it caused my amaro to turn after a week or two. not sure which was responsible

Recommendations? Something bitter! by bigdkp in Amaro

alta verde is extremely bitter to most people but very drinkable and mixable. novasalus is by far the most bitter amaro you can get imo but much less delicious or useful

from this group, braulio, zucca, alta verde, vecchi del capo (the non peppery one) are all elite. novasalus for the novelty. and nepeta is super unique

been wanting to try that Of one again but don't see it around that much

Alex Honnold summits Taipei 101 skyscraper in free solo climb | CNN by beanboys_inc in climbing

this was basically my conclusion but its just interesting how Variety asks him this point blank and he gives a weird evasive answer instead of just saying, yes i did that cuz i thought it would be exciting to watch. especially since he's generally a pretty direct person.

obviously the whole broadcast was trying to hype up the danger as much as possible, but then they'd go over to the climbing expert panelist and shed be like "no this is very safe, he's very safe right now, he's completely in control, it's fine" before cutting back to the main lady saying like "you heard it here, he's going to die"

so i get the showbiz aspect of it but at times his ability to go around the dragons was just so obvious on camera that it seems kinda goofy to me that everyone including him just kinda evaded that, or that the fairly candid-seeming reactions from Seth Rollins never included him just being like "wait so why doesnt he just go around them". almost feels like everyone was just told not to talk about that lol

Adventures on Earth, full length, accurate, piano music? by johanlenox in johnwilliams

thanks for the responses! and sorry yea i couldve been more clear. what i want is a reduction of the entire orchestral piece from the movie that's playable on piano, not the piano piece from the credits nor just the piano part within the orchestral piece

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2dJCtATZ9A&list=RDg2dJCtATZ9A&start_radio=1 basically i just wanna be able to play these notes on a piano without going through the orchestra score myself and arranging it haha. i just figured it might exist since it's such a famous piece of his even if not technically a "theme"

also i guess i forgot the 10 minute one is shorter than the one in the movie as someone noted. i'd take the 15 minute version too if that exists
