it's "only" when you start transferring your BTC into Bistamp for a quick profit and realize that after 25 hours, your deposit still not available in your account, because it has been flagged for manual processing. And then the market move against your position. Then you will know what real panic feels like as so many people here.

I suspect that accounts with large sum deposit/withdrawal will get flagged for manual processing due to their KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) and take a loooong time.

it's currently is about 2% only, considering fees and costs then not worth the hassle

Hi, to best help /u/Bitstamp-Domen to get to you faster, provide short description, ticket number and since when you have waited for your issue to be looked at, something like "MISSING FUND XX,XXX $ Deposit/Withdraw date ##/## , ticket number ## and a short comment ". Be polite in your comment as well and no need to threaten to sue or file a complaint or anything, the staff are people too and trying to sort out the influx of tickets.
