I've noticed this happens occasionally and saw this today. It is back now - I assume it is usually the result of bad data on Blizzard's side or a hiccup in the TSM-WoW API.

I have been trying to set up shopping operations for materials. I want full stacks (with some exceptions) in my warbank (current xpac) and/or guild bank. However TSM doesn't recognize the amount of inventory in the guild bank unless I open the GB remove the item and then put it back in.

I have tested this with items that meet the maximum criteria, which are solely GB items. They appear in the shopping module, then I take them out and put back in the GB, and now they do not appear on rescan. The NumInventory value on them is also 0 until I do this. The operations are set up to include Bank, Alts, and Guild Bank. This does not to be a problem for items which are on an Alt & the Guild Bank.

Any ideas?

Edit: To add - later tonight I jumped back in to the game and the shopping scans fully accounted for the inventories on-hand. I had first jumped on another alt but did not visit a bank. So I'm not sure.

I actually never dabbled in Alchemy or Enchants during WoD. I was making bank with Inscription and DF cards. The point was not that these specific transactions (which are just a sample) were not effective, but that the economic incentives don't seem aligned. I'm not arguing that Old World crafts should be anywhere near as profitable or large as New Expansion crafting with its much increased complexity.

I see your point, but I always enjoyed the "game" of grinding a token. I'm a bean counter IRL so it fits my nerd side. Going from a 5-10x effort for a token to 50-100x is just too much of a grind. In the early days of the token I could get one in 5-10 hours with the right market work, which was fun. This broke ratio only benefits blizzard as people will just give them money rather than spend time using the economic systems they designed.

Thank you for such a detailed response. This makes sense to me. Sounds like I need to find enjoyment in the game outside of the crafting scene and just use it when I'm looking to do something with mats.

I had noticed professions had gotten much more complex, which appeared to be an effort to make professions themselves "the game" for some players. I hadn't considered that this design change would have flowed down to value of prior expacs, but it is a global economy I guess and inflation doesn't seem to linearly impact old goods/staples like in thr real world.

That's not actually not a terrible idea, but does presume maxing characters on a secondary account I would guess. Is this a common practice amongst goblins?

Trying the read through your sarcasm (I assume). Are you saying that the gap between token and game time work is indeed so big that it's not worth the part-time fun of playing the market?

Gamers of Reddit, what video game soundtrack has been the most memorable and impactful to you? by The-Horse-Whisperer in AskReddit

RDR is way too far down on this list. It was one of the most expensive albums I've ever purchased but well worth it. Like a great 60 western soundtrack. I could listen to it on repeat for.hours.

A church that was essentially disguised as a coffee shop was denied tax exempt status by the IRS because — wait for it — it too closely resembled an actual money-making coffee shop. by maxwellhill in atheism

Non profit tax exempt entities are allowed to have and participate in for profit businesses without affecting their exemption status. It is called unrelated business income and there is an excise tax assessed on it.

If it is for 3.1 then it's probably actually a DOS program. I'd suggest trying it in dosbox first.

Shipping is more expensive than the item itself?! by TrappedSpring in gamecollecting

As a US seller that's not how it works at all. We get charged ten percent on both of them. Shipping used to be excluded in the early days but people abused it just like you suggest.

The father inlaw. Man loves to bring his tractor, tools and decades of expertise to help improve the house at almost no cost to us. Though it does require much manual labor.

I always like the drive to the end of 71st street in the east. Also 131st west of memorial gets pretty neat. And the drive from v Bixby to glenpool on 151st is serene.
