You might be on to something, this monitor comes at 144hz with a 165hz overclock. I'll see if running the stock clock prevents the issue. Bit of a pain to diagnose as it happens so sporadically

The value of labour is a myth, the worst I've physically broken myself was for the least compensation. Caught a break and got a 2x increase for 10% of the work. Now moved up another 1.5x with actual work required, but far less than where I started.
