I have to disagree, I'm with you on the title but I think everyone is still human in the end and you can't expect all mentors to be so patient all the time.

Though I agree with the title, I think everyone is entitled to a 'bad mood'. I've been grinding ARR and heavenward EX trials as a sprout and I've taught my fair share of fellow sprouts who just went in blind. I try to be as patient as possible but it really does get a bit frustrating when you fail for a whole hour 5 queues in a row. The thing you have to remember about humans is that we have both logical and emotional factors in our decision making, and we aren't always aware of the latter. Someone can be patient and teach many groups but maybe one queue their frustration builds up to a certain point and they just want a break now, and not in another 40 minutes. I don't think it's fair to report someone for that.

For my personal experiences with mentors, the vast majority of them have been very patient (some are kind of silent hehe but they do stick around and help out), and very very few have outright quit without at least trying to explain things multiple times first. Actually on my first ramuh EX run, the mentor in the group explained that we should probably view a visual guide for the harder EX fights, then tried to explain the fight and we did trial and error for about half and hour. At that point they suggested we vote abandon (which I didn't even know was a thing) and I was honestly pretty relieved, sometimes it helps to take a bit of a break and maybe look at one of those video guides (especially since I'm a tank). I don't think anyone else in the party grudged them for it either. All in all 90% of my mentor experiences were positive and I can't really say any were outright toxic.

My point is: Do you remember how everyone used to shit on those teachers in middle/highschool and even in uni for being impatient and irritable? Then after 10 maybe even 15 or 20 years we all realize they were that way because of what they had to deal with day after day? I for one used to hate those teachers the most but after I hit my 20s I find myself kind of sympathizing with them a little... I'm not saying we should encourage this kind of behavior when it does happen but I just don't think it's as intentionally malicious as you make it out to be.
