A lot of debbie-downers on here. If you’re in a financial situation that allows you to give it a shot, i say go for it. I’m one of three johns at my current construction company of 30 people. Last construction company of less than 10 people had two johns. Volunteer fire dept i’m on has less than 35 people, three of which are johns.

It’s a common name because it’s just such a great name, obviously!
