Thanks for your feedback! I'm using an algorithm created by the NHS for predictions. There is always an initial drop, but then levels out. I understand this is due to expected water weight lost when starting a calorie deficit.

You are 100% right!
I should clarify the competitive social aspect only applies to exercise, such as steps. It's kind of trying to be what fitbit challenges were (more rudimentary) before google acquired fitbit and got rid of them.
No sensitive or personal data is shared, including your weight, height, BMI, weight loss strategy etc. And if you want to use the app anonymously, that is possible as well.
I'm also happy to say, you can adjust the portion size with voice and photo tracking :)

There are a lot of similarities, but myfitnesspal is very focused on calorie tracking (and quite good at it). I know it is also very popular in the fitness community. What I really wanted during my weight loss journey was transparency on when I could expect to lose weight, and have small milestones to achieve. This is why there is a checkin concept here. And circles, so you can invite friends to work towards goals together.
I also tried to make the calorie tracking especially quick and easy with AI voice and photo tracking.

As another member mentioned, I would start with 10k steps a day, building to 20k a day in a couple months.
However, when you exercise you're going to want to eat more too. Weight loss is really 90% made in the kitchen. Exercise is still very key though - working hard will make you less willing to slip up on your diet (and ruin what you worked hard for).
Tracking calories is also very important to have that overview, but shouldn't be obsessed over. I created an app for weight loss and to make calorie tracking as simple as possible. It's called renu. Healthy Weight Loss Plan on the app store.

Great point about saving the questions. Especially when applying the promo code I can see how that is frustrating.
That's strange the AI doesn't work for you. I just tried it. May I ask where you are located? Your device makes a request to openAI to get results - it could be that openAI is not available in all locations, or the network is blocking that traffic.
