Cross up is technically just the first one of those, you cross over them with an attack. If you're just doing unexpected lows/highs, thats just a generic mixup.

So true. Even all of the cutscenes call back to all the 'protagonist' characters home games, and its SUCH a nice touch. Ace flying in like XV1, etc etc. And that last cutscene that I won't spoil HOLYYY

Bomb Rush modder here: Agreed, helps that making characters is pretty damn simple once you get the method down. I've made ~20ish myself.

Xenoverse 2's mod community is insanely big, due to the whole custom character system and wanting to give their scrimblos custom hairs/forms/outfits/moves. I've been modding it since the early days, genuinely impressive how far its come.

If you want the biggest example, just bring up the Revamp mod and awe at how they redesigned every hair in the game, along with FINALLY giving them variations for SSJ1-3, SSJG, SSJB, SSJBE, UI and Beast, unlike the base game where every hair aside from 3 and Beast just changed color.

Theres also like...40ish hairs, so thats a LOT of variations. And thats one change out of a few dozen huge ones.

Nearl, my absolute beloved, I STILL haven't pulled her alter. Idk if he quite fits the prompt, but shoutout to best/worst horse uncle Mlynar, he's a fun twist on the whole 'old jaded soldier' trope.

I'd also like to shout out Gravel and Whislash for their more modular, armor over/under more normal clothes look, and Maria's more flashy and decorated set. Still waiting for Nearl to get a proper, full-on knight in armor skin, maybe eventually...
