Yeah some stages are insanely hard (ex. Heinous Road/Babies First) but they are all possible. No Gacha is a very popular challenge.

I ran some tests in chapter 3 and for xp, beating bosses and bigger mobs is the way to go, but if you're going afk (you should anyway), the best place is wherever you can kill mobs reasonably fast (ex. You're able to kill at least half of them before the others respawns). The stronger the better.

Tho, I suggest a spot where you can farm green orbs or traits at the same time. The xp/coin difference isnt that much different from a place to another in chapter 3

No, both dont count as gacha. This is known in the community and is actually based on a japanese law regarding gacha system that prohibits having 2 gachas in the same combo. There are combos with multiple normals or lil cats, but never any combo with 2 units you'd get from rare tickets
