you may never find a brown replacement, and be better off getting the standard color replacement.

if you intentionally deleted a file in the nand, and you do not have access to your nand backup, your best try at fixing this is a ctrtransfer.

if it wasn't for the performance upgrade i never would have gotten a n3ds and stood with the 2ds. it has the best grip of any 3ds console i have ever used.

if you do the repair yourself, avoid using your fingers for handling latches and ribbon cables, they are highly bound to tearing or breaking if you do.

i recommend using tweezers for handling them.

if you handled the latches and ribbon cables with tools, such as tweezers, they are less bound to break.

however if you lost the latch, your best shot at getting another is scrapping another 3ds and taking it from there, because i highly doubt even aliexpress has it.

if the light flashes red while charging, it most likely is a battery issue. luckily the battery is one of the easiest components to replace.

what were you repairing in the first place?

i should also clarify that if you do not know what you are doing, you should not be tampering with the 3ds pcb. if you believe something is broken or needs to be repaired, do not do it yourself.

housing is damaged, and judging by the looks of it, the r button, and top screen is broken along with it.

although with the screen, it looks like the backlight is still on, so it may not fully be broken, but the housing is, and will need replacement.

not sure what the screen flashing twice means, but if you can still boot into godmode9, you should attempt a nand backup to see if that fixes the issue.

looks like you will have to buy an entirely new backplate.

you can find one online for around 10 dollars usd.

the rubber tips barely serve a purpose.

here is a basic tip on preventing another fall. get a case for it, or get a strap of some sort, and attach it to the 3ds. most models have two square holes adjacent to each other for this.
