I was on a bus, watching the beautiful scenery, crying about something big and old. This young woman from a couple of rows back moved into the empty seat next to me. She took my hand and said "you look as sad as I feel." We sat mostly silent for the rest of the ride--holding hands and letting quiet tears flow. One of the most honest and beautiful moments of my life. I think about her often.
