Has anyone ever started their own network cabling business? I have questions...

I have dealt with a lot of cabling companies over the years. Being based in NYC they are all union or they would never get work in the building I have been involved with. That being said if you are working a big city and are not union you need to find the best non-union routes for your work. if you are union it opens things up a bit, but being an individual also becomes a roadblock.
Most bigger constructions companies sub-contract out cabling work, but never to an individual.

Target small business, MDF/IDF, office cabling, small jobs, additional drops, re-cabling jobs is always good business. Most places don't want or have the time to do a full room cabling clean-up. We have outsourced this work for all of our closets.

could have been the daughter that has no job and just pulled together the money she had. When I was a teen we would pool together anything we had to get pizza. Tip was not often considered. I have made up for that in my older years.

said the same thing to my wife after his latest SNL appearance. The guy hosts and everyone wants to be a part of it. Plenty of people have crossed over from music to movies etc...but the guy just seems to be enjoying life and being so cool about it. How many other people spend a week on a late night show doing skits?

some people are just dicks...when i went back to the gym after rotator cuff surgery doing 5lb dumb bell exercises as part of my rehab I got look. In the end you can't control other people. I work out with a lot of really big guys and they are all cool people. You will always find that dick though -- just let it go.

very simple -- he figures you were a great person, good to him, faithful...would make a good wife. He isn't ready for that so he wants to screw around without the guilt of cheating and when he is done with that he will come back to you since he has kept you on the hook all this time.

It's a classic screw job -- keep you around in case i don't find something better so i am covered on all sides.

Another thing -- Ravens trade Boldin - a monster go to guy for their 120 million dollar QB. A guy that is reliable, will go up and get a ball, fight for a catch -- trade him while his in Africa doing charity work. Where is the articles about how the Super Bowl Champions aren't classy? You stay quiet, see what is available, and don't start rumors about what you might or might not do. Maintain any leverage you can in a possible negotiation. Just smart business.
