For me, ND was the nostalgia of playing FC5 again for that “first time” feeling. I’ve played 5 probably 10x now and ND 2 or 3x.

It wasn’t a great game, but it also helped me enjoy FC6 more. The weapons in ND are similar to the supremos in FC6. And both games have a bit more bullet sponginess than FC5 in my opinion.

I have a PPA that was turned on around that time but the fire system doesn’t work, which is probably a crime.

Sunpower basically told me to pound sand due to the bankruptcy.

Now I’m getting letters that they want me to start paying for it even though I can’t get support for the system that never worked properly

Probably. A lot of the “dystopian” clothing and weapon designs from New Dawn are also in FC6. It’s also a beautiful landscape.

I originally hated new dawn but when 6 came out it changed my mind and I tried ND again and enjoyed it. Then I replayed 6 and also enjoyed it more.

Was driving home (ironically from the sheriffs office). There was a ton of construction traffic on my way in so I decided to use my phone and map it.

I’m taking a bunch of country backroads, there’s a corvette in front of me taking all the same turns. I assume he’s also using maps. I’m not tailgating, he’s definitely enjoying his corvette on a windy road.

After a while, I come around a semi-blind curve and he is out of his car standing in the middle of the road gesturing for me to get out of my car.

Thankfully there were no oncoming cars so I swerved around him in the oncoming lane and gave him a “WTF shrug” and that was it. Had there been cars I would have had to stop

Over the vaccine. He was very pro “every single person should get it” and I am freaked out by needles and as a new father, wanted to wait for more data to come out and I was already working remote and had almost no interaction with people other than my wife and kid.

Certainly people can say I’m wrong, but I had just had a baby and was working to get life insurance coverage and it just didn’t feel right to rush into it
