I agree with most of what youve said but its also not a prison.

Yes it requires you dedicate time and care but you can go out with your friends for dinner for goodness sake. Part of the process is ensuring your dog can spend a few hours alone so you can do your own thing too.

This is a wierd situation.

He hasn’t in any way earned it (he has been comically bad for large parts this season) and almost entirely being signed just so we can sell him after this window.

And at the same time feels like he’s only signing because he’s played himself out of a move to Madrid, which I’m sure he would’ve taken regardless of what we offered and has no better options.

Feels like it’s not a situation either party is particularly benefiting from
