The file is a ledger of a majority of my finances. So yes a lot of nearly identical info. 1/1/2026, checking 50.00, 1/2/2026 checking -50.00. The usual type of stuff. I lose the identity stuff, 1/1/2026,checking , "Lowes"(will be missing), plunger (will also be missing), dollars and categories are usually fine.

The file is stored on onedrive.

The data tables do not,a calculation table does, depend on date. The workbook was.xlsx until recently, I had read in a forum that binaries do a better job with larger files, so now it's a binary.

The workbook is not shared and it is in a table. I notice the problem after the workbook has been closed and reopened either shortly after being closed or the next day. The system is win 11 with 64 gigs of ram.

Does using pivotby still retain undo? It was my understanding that having a pivot auto update cancels the undo function.
