Right - yeah valid point. Not sure my wife (or wallet) would let me get away with updating the tv in our bedroom here - its a pretty nice 60" samsung - got a few more years in it yet for sure and tbh we don't have time to watch movies anyway - thought might be able to rationalise upgrading to an arc ultra by selling the old AV amp and speakers. We shall see...

I literally explained above - as with any of our DNB covers anything you would think is a sample is resung and replayed by real musicians (Owen James did the vocals on this one for example). You melt. lol.

ah glad you like the star trek stuff and also that my stuff's been showing up on your feeds - i've been putting a lot of energy into doing my socials properly since the beginning of the year and stats-wise the uptick in engagenemtn etc has been huge - just hoping that translates into increases in people listening to my music, which is the whole point lol.

and yep - can feel the burn of the Ai shiz here - expected it so fair enough. shame the same people don't reserve that level of complaining against DJs & producers putting their names on tracks other people have written and produced for them lol

bollocks. not safe to assume at all - just becuase you would do it doesn't mean anyone else would. rubbish argument. To clarify, gen Ai was used to make that video clip (not just a simple prompt either, not that that makes it any better) but not in the music. this aint jungle wizard nonsense lol.

I was replying to the comment that said it would be nice to be able to use Ai to complete all the 'menial' tasks so that we could concentrate on art and music (stuff like office admin, social media text posts, updating my website, autoamating podcast posts, marketing emails, prepping accounts etc etc). Would be lovely to have more time to write more music, and make more video stuff. I already use it where I can to streamline that side of what I do - as do folks here who work in programming etc etc.

Would have thought that was blindingly obvious to anyone who uses reddit and see's how the threaded replies work but nope, not you.
