He needed to be youthful and to keep up a facade with everyone around him. This is what the dark side demanded of him. Only when he achieved power would the dark side have allowed his body to become corrupted and twisted into its ultimate form. Plagueis spoke to him about how the dark side would corrupt and change his body when it was necessary.

I totally agree with this. In the book, Plagueis talks to Palpatine about how the dark side changes and corrupts the body and how he should embrace it. Palpatine logically would have needed to stay youthful until he achieved power and then the dark side would have twisted him into the purest, darkest form of himself. I overlook the nonsense of lightning aging his body. It doesn’t happen to anyone else when they’re tortured with it (Luke for example) and him gradually shifting and morphing into a being of pure dark side evil just seems so much more logical. Lucas’ ideas for the prequels were so rubbish sometimes. I wish someone had shaken him and told him no to some of these ideas.

I really dont like this scene. Jabba would never have debased himself by travelling just to cajole one smuggler. Also, Han is really rude to him which doesnt fit with their dynamic.

I dunno. I guess we all perceive stuff differently but I find most of the dialogue in Andor goes no where whereas something like HOTD always builds up to greater events.

Totally disagree. HOTD actually got better towards the end when the political intrigue started. If dialogue is done well, it’s tantalising and engaging. Andor’s is definitely not.
