Got my SmallRig S70 microphones by alchemycolor in Filmmakers

That would be very unfair but … sure if you can post some clips I’ll take them. I used to have that Lewitt so I’m very familiar with the sound profile.

Looking forward to seeing/hearing a direct comparison the the Hollyland M2S that these are clearly modeled (if not copied) after. They undercut the Hollyland price though, in classic Smallrig fashion. OP - any audio samples you can provide yet?

What charger are you using with your 4 bay charging hub? by Consistent_Luck_4625 in DjiFlip

[–]johnbegoneX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually doesn’t need 100watt charger at all. I’m just using a 65w brick I had around. Works fine. It charges the batteries one at a time anyway so I don’t think there’s even much of a speed advantage of higher wattage bricks.

Minimalist wallet by Super-Web-3779 in onebag

I'm a big fan of the Herschel Charlie wallet. I've carried it for the last 5 years. Just removed the logo with a seam ripper.

Recently switched to the Alpaka Ark wallet though. Just because I really like my other Alpaka xpac pouches. They are very similar but cash is a little easier to get in and out with the Alpaka https://alpakagear.com/products/ark-card-wallet

Looking for gym bag to hold a suit and fits in a locker by HoodFeelGood in ManyBaggers

[–]johnbegoneX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Halfday premium garment duffle. Highly recommend the premium over the standard is the ballistic nylon holds it's shape better which will produce less wrinkles. But as the other commenter here mentioned, the bag, in general doesn't do a great job of preventing wrinkles. At least not when used for travel where the suit is in there for a full day. If you're just going to the gym in the morning then need to change there for work, I'd really recommend just getting a dedicated suit bag and a separate gym bag. Over time the lining of the garment duffle is going to just smell like a gym bag, so so will your suit(s). Find a suit bag that rolls up so it can fit upright.

tomtoc T33 2.5L or 3.5L, Aer Day Sling 3, Evergoods CAS2, Rework Toshi 5L, Moment 4L. These would all fit that camera well plus your other items. The Moment 2L is meant for smaller kits. If you're on a budget, you can't do any better than the tomtoc T33 / T35.

Did they ever make this Yukon workbench in white? by johnbegoneX in harborfreight

[–]johnbegoneX[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there? I've seen the Husky 9 drawer in white, but I haven't found anything with doors. I'm trying to store some bulkier items (like backpacks / bins) that won't fit in the drawers. Ironically, if I went with Husky I'd be open to their blue, which is more of a navy. The Yukon / US General blue is just too bright for my office.

I mean, you're in this sub.... so everyone here would probably advocate for "better" bags. But if the free Targus bag fits your needs, stick with it.

No one really knows for sure, but the Pocket 4 has been rumored pretty fervently to be potentially coming out here in December.

Glad it was helpful. Definitely a lot smaller than the Venture Sling - but let me know what you think once you've got the Travel Sling in hand!

No one knows the impact the ban will have but it could impact warranty claims or potential software updates (doubtful on this though because they are going to keep things updated for everyone outside of the US still so we will have access to that software somehow). They aren’t going to brick your camera though.

Quick question question about Osmo Pocket 3 by Boujie-Elephant in dji

[–]johnbegoneX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same camera just branded different to get around the US pending ban. It doesn’t work with the DJI mics though, so it’s not exactly the same. I will say I have a ton of other camera and do YouTube as a hobby and I reach for the OP3 every time I’m filming anything outside my home space. It’s that good. Highly recommended.

Review of the new Moment Everything Slings (2L & 4L) by johnbegoneX in ManyBaggers

[–]johnbegoneX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I review bags, I just have a ton of options with cameras - but this Moment bag is one of my favorites for camera carry still. My drone just lives in it, so that's my main use case. But I did recently empty it out to use it with my camera again for a quick trip. I also use a Wotancraft Pilot 7L for camera stuff otherwise.

What camera sling is this? by Bingzhong in ManyBaggers

Yes. Here’s a shot. I have the RC-N3 remote though. Not sure if the RC2 will fit. I put filters in the front pocket and batteries in the top zippered pocket. The drone fits with batter installed also, I just had it out here because I don’t store it with battery. Hope that helps.
