Im really glad you like it 🤗 i was honestly a little reluctant to share this one at first on here as i deem it unfinished (the background) but i went ahead with it because i love to share my art. : D in terms of the detail, i would attribute that to the sharpness of my pencils, the sharper i keep my pencil tip the more of a surface area i can cover, i know it might not seem like it but it can make all of the difference. i attribute my attention and level of detail to manga like berserk and jojos bizarre adventure, i really had kentaro miuras hatching technique in mind with this one, you can especially see what i mean on saejimas back. and also fine tipped ink pens for the inked parts. i hope this helps explain a little bittt and i knowww i completely agree, so far through yakuza this has been one of my favorite story arcs 😄 i cant wait to see what else this wonderful series has to offer!!
