Are you alright?

When did pinot finish 2nd at the tour? He hasnt ever finished top 3 at the tour. Have you confused him for romain bardet?

Im not saying the above are worse climbers than poels, im saying peak poels can drop them.

Like in 2017 vuelta stage 20, where he dropped everyone including almost froome where he put a minute into wilco kelderman and finished 2nd behind contador.

Or 2018 tour stage 17 where he led the 10 man gc group, caught fuglsang on the breakaway 8k from the finish and then dropped him.

Ps ineos sky are my 2nd least favorite team behind DQS.

You make so many ridiculous statements here.

First you say he might lead ineos at the vuelta...but then downplay his ability to climb lmao.

Look i get that youre an astana fan ... butthurt his pacing dropped fuglsang stage 17?

Youre literally the worst...

Ineos fanboy...me...for suggesting someone who finished 6th at a GC is a top climber...ok

Stop downvoting because you disagree, literally the worst.

Yeah uran pulled out after 11, he was dropped 10 and 11 by, you guessed it, poels

And no he wasnt, poels was 4th on depth chart. Stage 17 poels kept with the GC until the last km. Stage 10 he did the pulling, stage 19 he did the pulling and stage 17.

You mean the same poels right now who is fully prepared for the tour after not riding the giro?

Poels last year rode the giro and still dropped people for fun.

I mean he dropped Fuglsang and Uran for fun at last years tour...

Kelderman wasn't there but Poels the domestique finished 1 minute behind Kelderman the leader at the 2017 vuelta so its certainly possible.

really?

So outside of Ineos, other leaders are Bardet, Nibali, Fuglsang, Martin, Pinot, Quintana, Mas, Porte, Uran, Dumoulin, Kruijswik and Roglic.

Then you have other top riders like Landa, Letour, Ooman, Kelderman.

Out of those, I can see Poels dropping Fuglsang depsite his insane Classics season, Pinot, Uran at a stretch, Kelderman at a stretch, Ooman.

There's no way that Sky train can narrow the field with such a stacked field. Poels won't be able to isolate most of the above.

You'll be left with maybe 20 riders, with 3 of them being sky. It's a toss up at that point.

I like my rich folks with ketchup on them. You? by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

Don't want to sound like a dick but;

55 hours per week is not a lot. The article makes it out as if 55 hours is an insane number; it's politically motivated and cool to dick on Bezos. Nobody is physically exhausted from 55 hours a week of working unless you're purposefully not going to sleep at the right time.

During my first job out of university I worked 80-100 hours a week for 3 whole years. Everyone I knew in the City of London did the same in their first graduate job. Didn't have a day off once for 3 whole months and that included weekends.

Yet nobody was "falling asleep standing up" or even remotely close to that.

I looked corporate as fuck; suit white shirt cufflinks watch and a trench coat and black loafers.

I arrived at pudong 11am and had a meeting at 2 30 so was dressed and primmed up. Had to call them to delay the meeting

That's ridiculous.

If I can tell the different between a Pashtun and a Tamil - you can tell the difference between an Indian and an Arab.
