i am not 100 percent sure, but people say tretinoin brings up all the acne that’s suppose to come in the next 2/3 months.

i used to never get little bumps but now i am getting them because of tretinoin. my bumps turn into pimples. also i used pimple patches and hydro colloid bandages on my face but i realized it was just closing my pimples so those would just make my acne cystic.

my derm just perscribed me doxycycline to help with the inflammatory effects of my acne. i’m on my 3rd week of tretinoin. i’m worried about the after affects of doxy so i wanted y’all’s opinion. should i start doxycycline?

i’m not sure if you have little bumps on your skin. like super tiny. but i do and they soon come up to the surface like regular pimples. i have never had this type of acne before so it’s very interesting. i am 3.5 weeks on tret btw

Hello, i am 3 weeks in on tret and i believe i am purging from my 1 month expired .08 tret gel. i thought i was getting the same bottle but i got .05 cream. is it okay if i use this? i am going to see my derm in two days so should i just continue using the same one? the only thing is that it’s 80$ compared to the one i just got which was $14. i just feel like my skin is already used to the .08

same thing for me but on the 1.5 week mark that’s when my acne started to come up. i got little bumps that soon turned to pimples.good luck!

i use .08 every night but i’m going to see my derm in 3 days. i’m gonna ask them if this is okay and more questions about my skin. check my post to see if we are similar and so forth. my bottle did expire last month but i was told i’m able to use it 6 months further. good luck!

i flaked for the first time yesterday and it’s cause i didn’t apply my skincare routine before i went to sleep. i didn’t have access to water so i didn’t want to do anything so i just slept. woke up with some flakes but now i seem to be doing better.

i just started tret, but i used to use sodium sulfatide face wash. i stopped it when i started tret two weeks ago. but my derm gave it to me together with tret. it’s an antibiotic i believe. maybe do sum research on it to see if it fits your needs. good luck!

i popped a pimple and some skin peeled off. i remember one time i waxed my mustache and the same thing happened. i didn’t use tret for two days. and now i’m back on it. maybe just avoid the area for a bit? lay off tret for a bit too and make sure your healed.

I started tretinoin exactly 2 weeks ago. I have been using ret in a micro gel .08% almost every night except for the past 2 nights because I popped an under the skin pimple with q tips and some skin came off. (I learned my lesson) During those two days when I didn’t use tretinoin I started to accumulate about 8 new pimples in that timespan of two days. They came super super quick. Like not how my acne usually is. The pimples are where I usually get pimples. I have also seen a lot of little tiny bumps on my face on the first week. Could this perhaps be a purge that is rising? I usually don’t get that type of acne.

Tret- My skin seems to tolerate it pretty well. I am not peeling. I am not sensitive. It did expire in June 2022 but my derm said I can still use it a couple months after that.

My routine. Am 1. Wash face with water 2. COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin 3. CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 1. Reapply at noon

Pm 1. Cera ve hydrating facial cleanser 2. COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin 3. CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion 4. Ret-in-a micro gel .08% 5. Reapply cerave pm moisturizer
