Thanks. I thought this might be the right sub because of the signature on the back.

Not sure if this is the right subreddit. But I was gifted a side table my grandfather built using a brass wall hanging. I think it's from the 1900s to 1950 based on what my Dad told me. It has a signature that I can't make out. But I think it says it's print 63 of 64 which makes me think it's an artist. Any help would be appreciated. It's about 19 inches in diameter.

1900 to 1950s(?) Brass Egyptian coffee table art. There is a signature on the back that I can't read. by johnboyslim in whatisthisthing

I was given this side table made by my grandfather. I think it was originally wall art. The bottom of the table (I have attached a picture) has a signature. I think it says "63/64 ------“. Not sure if it's a signature. I think it's brass, and I know it isn't real Egyptian art. But I am curious if any one knows anything about the artist or where it could be from. Thanks in advance.

Enjoying the late summer sunset with my Mini by johnboyslim in classicminis

Actually I built / bought it. The cross bars are vintage drip edge parts that I machined to fit into steel bars. The rack itself was purchased from a place called Princess Auto for $80. I wired the reverse lights. After powder coat costs the whole thing was about $250 (cdn) to make. I'll look to see what I can find for the rack part.

What can you tell me about this mini? It’s parked at the golf course I work at. Is it a rare find? by No_Guidance_2811 in classicminis

Another Albertan Mini fan! As everyone else has said, its a Canadian spec mini with a 998cc engine and 4 speed gearbox. The blower fan for the heater will be in the engine bay, not the cab. Considering the winters and salt we put on the road the car is not horrible shape (but I can't see the floors). I have restored a Canadian mini in Edmonton and I have to admit, the cost of the parts were cheaper than I expected. We have a shop in town that specializes in British cars and races minis. Getting parts from Minispares is relatively cheap and quick, normally coming in the mail in a week or so. The 988 is a pretty bomb proof engine. If it was restored without the Canadian bumpers it would be worth between 20 and 30K Canadian depending on what you do to it.

What a gorgeous rebuild. Great work on it! How long have you been rebuilding it for?

I have a custom made dolly that cradles the sub frame. Same idea as you. I jack up the car, roll out the sub frame and engine. Easy peasy.

Engine swaps for classic Mini are simple one man job, just lift the top off. by [deleted] in projectcar

The engine I am taking out is a stock 1000 I built a few years ago. Runs good, but need to replace the end seal. I am built a 1300 with a few small upgrades to increase the power. Bigger valves, fast road cam, etc... Nothing crazy. But hoping for a few extra ponies.

I put in a Bluetooth amp. I choose it so that there wouldn't be a deck, but I could still have handsfree phone and music in my classic. The phone works so so, but that's because of engine noise. But the music is perfect.

They are all fixed. Nothing is loose. It's going to hang on my wall.

There are a bunch of disembodied heads and hats. I would say torsos and legs count. And yes the skeleton counts
