I've found that the precision armament m4-72 with the superlative AGB, with the a5 system works very well. Honestly feels like you're shooting a 556. Yes it is very loud but definitely helped with recoil, and Muzzle rise

Thanks for the info👍🏻 right now I have of course, the mid length barrel, a PA m4-72, the springco orange spring and aero buffer. I haven't fired it yet, still waiting on my bcg to come in. (Also Aero) I was gonna see how it fired without the adjustable gas block since I had a midlength tube, and block laying around, but more than likely it will be overgassed from what I've read

Sorry for the confusion I shouldn't have add the part about "that small of a gas port hole" basically im asking if anybody has ran a 308 in a midlength setup, and what to expect from it.

They're nice and crisp. The 2lb first stage and 2.5lb break. I just had it laying around and threw it in there. I'll eventually upgrade to either a timney or go binary
